Saes Getters S.p.A. is the world leader of the production and marketing of gas traps and metal alloy components. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- titanium-nickel shape memory alloy raw material and components (48.7%): for the medical surgery industry;
- industrial equipment (28,7%): mercury generators for lamps (world leader), gas purification systems, thermal insulation equipment, gas traps and cathode tubes for flat screens, shape memory and super elastic materials and components, etc.;
- advanced vacuum solutions (12.4%): primarily vacuum pumps;
- specialty chemicals (5.9%);
- advanced packaging materials (4.2%).
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Italy (2.2%), Europe (19%), North America (60.2%), China (11.3%), Japan (2.8%), South Korea (0.8%), Asia (2.6%) and other (1.1%).
