What we do

Barclays has a strong track record in Italian Equity Capital Markets, having supported our clients across various sectors in raising equity capital via IPOs, rights issues, accelerated bookbuilding offerings and convertible bonds, leading several transactions as global coordinator. Barclays provides a strong aftermarket support to issuers, having been the #1 bank for trading of Italian stocks in 2020. As equity offerings by Italian issuers are predominantly distributed to international investors in Europe and in the US, we benefit from high levels of activity in both regions having raised €180 billion of equity capital for our clients in 2020.
