About us

Since 29 April 2021, Borsa Italiana has been part of Euronext, the leading European capital market infrastructure, with a combined market capitalisation of €7 trillion and more than 1,800 listed issuers. Milan is home to Euronext’s finance department and the group’s Data Centre is located near Bergamo, where around 25% of European equity trading takes place. The facility is powered by renewable energy.

Italy has also become a strategic hub for the group’s post-trade activities. Euronext Clearing (known until 2023 as CC&G), based at Via Tomacelli 146 in Rome, is now the centre of pan-European clearing, while Euronext Securities Milan (Monte Titoli) is the group’s main central securities depository. Borsa Italiana is at the heart of the Italian economic and financial system and is a key component of European financial markets.
