Selling prevails in Piazza Affari and the other European markets

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.07. Gold has a bad day, ending the session -1.1% lower at 2,309.2 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil plunges to 81.44 dollars per barrel amid heavy sell-offs, losing -1.55%.

The Spread remains unchanged at +130 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.87%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt slips just under the flatline with a -0.47% decrease, London makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.31%), and Paris contracts moderately by -0.54%.

The Milanese stock exchange goes into red amid broad selling pressure, with the FTSE MIB witnessing a -0.97% decline; similarly, a gloomy day for the FTSE Italia All-Share, which is trading at 36,172 points, down -0.89%.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap hovers just below the flatline (-0.35%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star is below the flatline, slipping -0.28%.

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Bper performs well, growing +2.39%.

MPS Bank secures a tidy +2.05% gain.

Finecobank looks composed with modest growth of +1.34%.

Banca Mediolanum performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.99% rise.

Stellantis has the worst performance, with a -7.99% down.

Iveco declines by a notable -2.42%.

Telecom Italia is struggling, -2.08% down.

Saipem suffers losses of 1.90%.

Digital Value (+2.60%), Lottomatica (+2.18%), D'Amico (+1.65%) and Cembre (+1.25%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Ariston Holding reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.96% down.

Investors hurry to sell as El.En declines -3.35%.

Alerion Clean Power plunges -3.18% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as MFE B records a -2.98% fall.
