Piazza Affari heads the pack in Europe
(Teleborsa) - Stock markets are having a poor day on the Old Continent, trading negative amid broad selling pressure. In this dreary climate, Milan holds firm and wins the laurels.
EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only -0.14%. Gold loses a lot of ground, retracing by -0.84% to trade at 2,298.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil trades with a fractional gain of 0.56%.
The Spread (the difference between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields) drops to +128 basis points, down -3 BPs from its previous level, with the Italy 10-year BTP yield at +3.82%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues, London edges higher, showing an increase of 0.39%, and Paris trades negative, losing -0.75%.
Milan is trading slightly higher, with the FTSE MIB advancing to 33,814 points, while, instead, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading on a dull note, at 36,003 points, around the previous day's levels.
