Old Continent markets are all positive
(Teleborsa) - There was a rush of buy orders on European stock markets, with Piazza Affari closing on the same positive note as the Old Continent bourses. Meanwhile on Wall Street the S&P-500 marks a +0.49% gain.
EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.066. Gold is in positive terrain, earning +1.01%. Light Sweet Crude Oil meanders around the flatline, settling at 82.67 dollars per barrel.
The Spread retreats slightly to +140 basis points, down -2 BPs, while the Italy BTP 10-year yield stands at +3.87%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt looks composed with modest growth of +0.38%, London performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.37% rise, and resilient Paris registers a small increase of 0.52%.
In Piazza Affari, the FTSE MIB ends the day +0.74% up at 33,882 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share holds onto solid gains, ending the day at 36,008 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.33%); the FTSE Italia Star lacks direction (+0.06%).
Prysmian (+3.16%), MPS Bank (+3.14%), Campari (+2.56%) and Hera (+2.17%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.
Saipem has the worst performance, closing -1.89% down.
Brunello Cucinelli is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 1.85%.
Telecom Italia trades negative, losing -1.84%.
Leonardo is sluggish, declining marginally (-1.44%).
MFE B (+9.03%), OVS (+8.27%), MFE A (+4.39%) and GVS (+2.54%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.
Industrie De Nora sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -6.06% lower.
