Milan treads water

(Teleborsa) - The Italian stock market remains unchanged , while Europe's major bourses slide. Meanwhile, on Wall Street the S&P-500 remains just above the no-change mark.

EUR / USD is slightly down at 1.069. Gold loses -1.17% to stand at 2,291.1 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is just below the flatline, with a negative variation of -0.07%.

The Spread (the difference between the Italian BTP and German Bund yields) drops to +127 basis points, down -4 BPs from its previous level, with the Italy 10-year BTP yield at +3.83%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt essentially treads water (0%), London records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.46%, and Paris contracts moderately by -0.62%.

The Milan stock exchange takes a breather, with the FTSE MIB trading at 33,782 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading flat at 35,979 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (+0.06%), as the FTSE Italia Star holds previous levels (-0.12%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, MPS Bank progresses +5.08% in an optimal session.

Ferrari forges ahead by +2.14%.

Hera is in positive territory with a +1.89% increase.

Nexi attracts bids with a +1.86% rise.

Stellantis has the worst performance, with a -4.07% down.

Stmicroelectronics trades negative, losing -2.92%.

Iveco plunges -2.5%.

ENI declines by a notable -2.05%.

ENAV (+2.64%), LU-VE Group (+2.08%), Ariston Holding (+1.82%) and Lottomatica (+1.75%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

Fincantieri sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.22% lower.

Pharmanutra is struggling, -3.75% down.

Maire Tecnimont suffers losses of 3.66%.

Investors hurry to sell as Comer Industries declines -2.12%.
