Milan treads water

News Image (Teleborsa) - The Italian stock market remains unchanged , while Europe's major bourses slide. On the US exchange, the S&P-500 is essentially stable with a percentage change of +0.05.

EUR / USD trades slightly up at 1.067. Gold holds its position at 2,378.7 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil trades with a fractional gain of 0.08%.

The Spread is at +140 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.9%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt slips just under the flatline with a -0.49% decrease, London contracts moderately by -0.27%, and Paris reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB is largely stable, trading at 33,874 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share bounces around the flatline, trading at 35,986 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap spirals down (-0.76%), as the FTSE Italia Star declines -0.74%.

DiaSorin (+1.41%), Terna (+1.40%), Unipol (+1.35%) and Finecobank (+1.25%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Saipem sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.05% lower.

Stmicroelectronics is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 1.82%.

Nexi is subdued, shedding -1.43%.

Iveco falls just below its previous value.

Digital Value (+2.11%), OVS (+1.63%), Banca Ifis (+1.40%) and Comer Industries (+1.20%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Pharmanutra has the worst performance, with a -3.40% down.

Juventus trades negative, losing -2.91%.

Philogen plunges -2.19%.

Brembo declines by a notable -2.17%.
