Milan trades flat. Europe down

News Image (Teleborsa) - On the Old Continent, the major bourses are trading lower , while Piazza Affari hugs the flatline.

EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.074. Gold holds its position at 2,311.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil shows a timid gain of +1.01%.

The Spread is at +132 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.81%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt edges higher, showing an increase of 0.36%, London is stuck at the previous session's levels, and it's a stalemate for Paris, which is trading around the flatline.

The Milanese stock market is moving sideways, with the FTSE MIB registering a -0.11% change; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share (Milan) hovers around previous levels, trading at 36,348 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is practically unchanged (-0.16%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star holds the line (-0.19%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Nexi sparkles, managing to pull off a +5.72% increase.

Prysmian forges ahead by +2.2%.

A positive result for Tenaris, which inches up +1.44%.

Saipem is essentially healthy, gaining +1.28%.

Bper reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.38% down.

Banca Popolare Sondrio plunges -2.06% on intense selling.

Investors are selling as Banco Bpm records a -1.64% fall.

Tottering Leonardo dips -1.41%.

Industrie De Nora (+5.76%), Alerion Clean Power (+1.70%), MutuiOnline (+1.37%) and Piaggio (+1.33%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Fincantieri reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -8.89% down.

Banca Ifis shows a negative session -2.88% down.

Troubled BFF Bank falls -2.13%.

Brembo is down, with a net loss of 1.92%.
