Milan trades flat. Europe down

News Image (Teleborsa) - On the Old Continent, the major bourses are trading lower , while Piazza Affari hugs the flatline.

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.074, is traded around previous levels. Gold is essentially stable at 2,310.6 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil meanders around the flatline, settling at 79.32 dollars per barrel.

The Spread remains unchanged at +133 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.79%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is stuck at the previous session's levels, it's a stalemate for London, which is trading around the flatline, and lacklustre Paris registers almost no change against the previous trading session.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB is largely stable, trading at 34,165 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading on a dull note, at 36,406 points, around the previous day's levels.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades moderately higher (+0.21%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.25%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Nexi rockets +6.8%.

Prysmian forges ahead by +1.74%.

Pirelli & C makes fairly pedestrian progress (+1.13%).

Tenaris looks composed with modest growth of +1.02%.

Bper reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -5.89% down.

Tottering Snam dips -1.42%.

Banca Popolare Sondrio is definitely weaker with a -1.38% decrease.

Leonardo slips just under the flatline with a -1.18% decrease.

Industrie De Nora (+6.00%), Ariston Holding (+1.80%), MFE B (+1.75%) and D'Amico (+1.60%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Fincantieri sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -5.48% lower.

Banca Ifis contracts moderately by -0.65%.

El.En is subdued, shedding -0.6%.

BFF Bank falls just below its previous value.
