Markets weak, but Milan avoids sell-offs
(Teleborsa) - European bourses close the trading session on a downward note, while Piazza Affari resists the downdraft. Wall Street stocks are substantially weaker, with the S&P-500 registering a decrease of 0.38%.
EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.066. Gold trades slightly up at 2,394.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil rises +0.41% to 83.07 dollars per barrel.
The Spread remains unchanged at +140 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.89%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, tottering Frankfurt dips -0.56%, London records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.24%, and Paris is basically unchanged, reporting a scant -0.01% variation.
The Borsa Italiana closes flat, with the FTSE MIB settling at 33,922 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share has neither shame nor gain as it closes unchanged at 36,023 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap ends negative (-0.81%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star finishes just below the flatline (-0.59%).
