Markets of the Old Continent are all positive

News Image (Teleborsa) - A rush of buy orders hits the European stock markets as Piazza Affari closes on the same positive note as the Old Continent bourses.

EUR / USD makes timid gains, progressing by +0.21%. Gold trades down -0.51% in a weak session. Light Sweet Crude Oil enjoys a positive session, gaining +0.86%.

The Spread is at +126 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.79%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.25%, London is basically unchanged, reporting a scant +0.02% variation, and Paris makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.27%).

The Milanese stock exchange enjoys timid gains as the FTSE MIB exhibits +0.27% up; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share notches up to 36,773 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.5%); the FTSE Italia Star is practically unchanged (+0.19%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Finecobank is in positive territory with a +2.67% increase.

Prysmian attracts bids with a +2.11% rise.

Stmicroelectronics looks composed with modest growth of +1.24%.

Poste Italiane performs modestly, showing a moderate +1.05% rise.

Saipem sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.33% lower.

Snam totters along with a modest -1.21% decline.

A sluggish day for Terna, which drops -0.9%.

Enel trades with a small loss of -0.82%.

Technoprobe (+4.37%), Comer Industries (+3.55%), De'Longhi (+2.96%) and Cembre (+2.58%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Philogen sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -0.81% lower.

Tottering Ascopiave dips -0.67%.

Acea is definitely weaker with a -0.66% decrease.

Mondadori slips just under the flatline with a -0.66% decrease.
