Markets of the Old Continent are all positive

News Image (Teleborsa) - A rush of buy orders hits the European stock markets as Piazza Affari closes on the same positive note as the Old Continent bourses.

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.069, is traded around previous levels. Gold is essentially stable at 2,323.1 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil continues to trade sideways, registering a -0.08% change.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +134 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.84%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.26%, London lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.42%, and Paris is stuck at the previous session's levels.

The Milanese bourse edges up as the FTSE MIB rises +0.2% to 34,433 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share notches up to 36,571 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (+0.05%), as the FTSE Italia Star holds previous levels (-0.13%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Stmicroelectronics soars, recording a substantial +5.02% rise.

Intesa Sanpaolo makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.97%).

DiaSorin looks composed with modest growth of +0.92%.

Banca Mediolanum performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.66% rise.

Saipem sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.99% lower.

Telecom Italia is struggling, -1.54% down.

Brunello Cucinelli is modestly down, shedding -1.17%.

Inwit drifts -1.14% lower.

Salcef Group (+17.87%), Technoprobe (+2.67%), LU-VE Group (+1.16%) and The Italian Sea Group (+0.86%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

De'Longhi has the worst performance, with a -1.46% down.

MutuiOnline totters along with a modest -1.42% decline.

A sluggish day for Webuild, which drops -1.26%.

Digital Value trades with a small loss of -1.24%.
