Markets of the Old Continent are all positive

News Image (Teleborsa) - A rush of buy orders hits the European stock markets as Piazza Affari closes on the same positive note as the Old Continent bourses.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.067. Gold is in reverse gear, sliding to 2,309.1 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil continues to trade sideways, registering a +0.28% change.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +134 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.81%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt forges ahead by +0.76%, London records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.49%, and Paris is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.27%.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB registers a fractional gain of +0.58%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share crawls up to 36,033 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is trading just above the flatline (+0.53%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star gains marginally (+0.6%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Telecom Italia is in positive territory with a +3.66% increase.

Banco Bpm attracts bids with a +1.73% rise.

Stmicroelectronics is firmly in the black, progressing +1.59%.

Nexi lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 1.28%.

Saipem reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.29% down.

Pirelli & C is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.88%).

Tenaris is modestly down, shedding -0.74%.

Sanlorenzo (+2.96%), De'Longhi (+2.43%), Technoprobe (+2.05%) and Alerion Clean Power (+1.85%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Ferretti reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.72% down.

Industrie De Nora declines by a notable -1.72%.

Ariston Holding drifts -0.76% lower.

Webuild totters along with a modest -0.73% decline.
