European markets up, Milan on the backfoot
(Teleborsa) - Europe's bourses are all trading on the plus side, with the exception of the Milanese market, which is showing signs of weakness. A positive result for the US bourse, where the S&P-500 boasts a +0.51% rise.
Caution prevails as EUR / USD continues the session slightly lower (-0.36%). Gold suffers substantial sell-offs as it drops to 2,338.8 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is firmly in the red as it tumbles -0.82% to trade at 81.54 dollars per barrel.
The Spread improves significantly, decreasing -7 basis points to +133 BPs, with the Italian 10Y BTP yield at +3.83%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt is firmly in the black, progressing +0.72%, an ebullient London is up +1.61%, and Paris performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.23% rise.
The Milan stock exchange is trading lower, with the FTSE MIB recording a decline of -0.78%, interrupting a run of three consecutive rises, which began last Wednesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading just below the previous session's levels, at 35,772 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap lacks direction (-0.08%); the FTSE Italia Star trades moderately higher (+0.49%).
Recordati (+3.09%), MPS Bank (+2.98%), DiaSorin (+2.68%) and Pirelli & C (+2.17%) among the top performers in Milan.
Brunello Cucinelli has the worst performance, with a -1.13% down.
