European markets positive

News Image (Teleborsa) - Europe's major markets finish in positive territory. Piazza Affari also ends trade on a bullish note. Meanwhile on Wall Street the S&P-500 marks a +0.21% gain.

EUR / USD climbs a tad to 1.077. Gold is in positive terrain, earning +0.9%. Light Sweet Crude Oil is just below the flatline, with a negative variation of -0.02%.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +132 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.8%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt attracts bids with a +1.02% rise, London records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.33%, and Paris is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.69%.

At close, the Milan stock exchange posts timid gains, with the FTSE MIB inching up +0.55%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share inches up +0.5% to close at 36,569 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (-0.1%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star holds previous levels (-0.04%).

Nexi (+6.38%), Prysmian (+3.75%), Finecobank (+2.57%) and Stellantis (+2.17%) among the top performers in Milan.

Bper has the worst performance, closing -2.98% down.

Banca Popolare Sondrio suffers losses of 1.75%.

Investors hurry to sell as Recordati declines -1.66%.

Banco Bpm totters along with a modest -1.41% decline.

D'Amico (+9.74%), Industrie De Nora (+6.00%), Buzzi (+4.36%) and SOL (+2.84%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

BFF Bank reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -10.31% down.

Fincantieri plunges -7.56%.

Carel Industries nosedives by -7.02%.

Banca Ifis plunges -4.09% on intense selling.
