European markets on standby
(Teleborsa) - The major European bourses are trading on a cautious note. Uncertainty and wariness also pervade Milan, where stocks cling close to the flatline. On Wall Street the S&P-500 is basically stagnant, posting a paltry +0.18% change.
EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.07. Gold is essentially stable at 2,322 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is just below the flatline, with a negative variation of -0.7%.
The Spread jumps to +136 basis points, an increase of 3 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10Y yield at +3.92%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, lacklustre Frankfurt registers almost no change against the previous trading session, London lacks momentum, trading with a +0.17% change, and Paris is essentially flat, offering a scant +0.07%.
The Milanese stock market is moving sideways, with the FTSE MIB registering a -0.19% change; similarly, no shame no gain for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it trades flat at 36,443 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.24%), as the FTSE Italia Star inches up +0.23%.
