European bourses up, heavy losses in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - European markets are largely trading on the positive side, while Milan falls into the red due to the weight of the dividends.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.066. Gold loses -1.37% to stand at 2,357.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is firmly in the red as it tumbles -2.89% to trade at 80.73 dollars per barrel.

The Spread retreats to +137 basis points, a decline of 3 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +3.86%.

Among the European markets, Frankfurt edges higher, showing an increase of 0.45%, London performs well, growing +1.19%, and a positive result for Paris, which inches up +0.24%.

A dismal day for the Borsa Italiana as the FTSE MIB declines -1.02%, halting the run of three consecutive rises, which started last Wednesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share retreats -0.88% to trade at 35,704 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (+0.08%); the FTSE Italia Star climbs +0.72%.

Telecom Italia (+2.57%), Nexi (+1.81%), Banco Bpm (+1.68%) and Campari (+1.36%) among the top performers in Milan.

Leonardo reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -0.65% down.

MFE B (+2.13%), MFE A (+1.85%), MutuiOnline (+1.74%) and Industrie De Nora (+1.65%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Webuild reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.85% down.

D'Amico is modestly down, shedding -0.96%.

Danieli & C drifts -0.62% lower.
