Europe reined in

News Image (Teleborsa) - Just like the other major markets in Europe, the Milan stock exchange is going nowhere.

There is no significant change for EUR / USD which, at 1.072, is traded around previous levels. Gold is trading at previous levels, with a variation of +0.14%. Light Sweet Crude Oil meanders around the flatline, settling at 83.68 dollars per barrel.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +132 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.82%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt lacks momentum, trading with a +0.01% change, London performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.51% rise, and Paris is essentially flat, offering a scant +0.08%.

The Milanese stock exchange sees no significant change with the FTSE MIB settling at 34,236 points, near the previous session's levels; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share bounces around the flatline, trading at 36,412 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds previous levels (+0.13%); the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.29%).

A2A (+3.80%), Nexi (+1.79%), DiaSorin (+1.69%) and ERG (+1.36%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Banco Bpm sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.19% lower.

Unicredit trades with a small loss of -1.16%.

Tottering Brunello Cucinelli dips -0.72%.

Ferrari is definitely weaker with a -0.63% decrease.

Alerion Clean Power (+5.30%), D'Amico (+4.95%), Webuild (+3.25%) and Iren (+2.85%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

The Italian Sea Group reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -3.37% down.

Mondadori slips just under the flatline with a -1.11% decrease.

Ferragamo contracts moderately by -1.1%.

BFF Bank is subdued, shedding -0.99%.
