Europe in good shape. Piazza Affari out of line

News Image (Teleborsa) - Stock markets on the Old Continent witness a lively trading session, closing with fractional gains. Milan lacks the buying impetus seen elsewhere in Europe and falls behind.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.074. Gold is essentially stable at 2,311.7 dollars per ounce. A gloomy day for Light Sweet Crude Oil, which is trading at 77.5 dollars per barrel, down -1.12%.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +131 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.74%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.37%), London looks composed with modest growth of +0.45%, and Paris performs modestly, showing a moderate +0.67% rise.

Milan's Piazza Affari is essentially stable, with the FTSE MIB trading sideways at 34,270 points; similarly, no shame no gain for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it trades flat at 36,505 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (-0.11%); the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.25%).

Leonardo (+1.54%), Recordati (+1.49%), Bper (+1.42%) and Interpump Group (+1.00%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Campari has the worst performance, with a -1.39% down.

Stellantis totters along with a modest -1.09% decline.

A sluggish day for ENI, which drops -0.82%.

Stmicroelectronics trades with a small loss of -0.59%.

Intercos (+6.74%), D'Amico (+2.02%), MFE A (+1.07%) and Tinexta (+0.98%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

Maire Tecnimont sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -4.44% lower.

Ariston Holding declines by a notable -2.79%.

Cementir is struggling, -1.73% down.

Tottering Brembo dips -1.05%.
