Borsa Italiana sees moderate losses

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari slips fractionally, while Euroland creeps up. On the US market, the S&P-500 is in fairly positive terrain.

EUR / USD continues the session just below the flatline, slipping -0.21%. Gold collapses (-2.33%), hitting 2,334.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil slides -0.06% to 82.17 dollars per barrel.

The Spread declines to settle at +134 basis points, a reduction of 6 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +3.81%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.69%, London dazzles with a +1.62% surge, and Paris lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.22%.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB trades below the flatline, finishing -0.58% down at 33,725 points, interrupting a run of three consecutive rises, which began last Wednesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share finishes below the flatline, at 35,827 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap eases -0.22%; the FTSE Italia Star inches up +0.36%.

DiaSorin (+4.12%), MPS Bank (+3.05%), Recordati (+2.49%) and Bper (+2.34%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Brunello Cucinelli has the worst performance, closing -1.29% down.

ERG contracts moderately by -1.07%.

Saipem is subdued, shedding -0.8%.

Marr (+5.68%), MFE B (+4.82%), OVS (+2.86%) and Cembre (+2.63%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.

GVS has the worst performance, closing -3.52% down.

Webuild shows a negative session -2.94% down.

Troubled Carel Industries falls -2.71%.

Technoprobe is down, with a net loss of 2.08%.
