Borsa Italiana leads Europe-wide rally
(Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari makes breathtaking gains, but the other European markets are also performing well.
EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.077. Gold is up +0.76% at 2,320.1 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil rises +1.15% to 79.01 dollars per barrel.
The Spread flatlines, remaining at +129 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.72%.
Among the European markets, Frankfurt is firmly in the black, progressing +0.91%, London is closed, and Paris performs well, growing +0.8%.
The Italian stock market is on the plus side, as the FTSE MIB rises +1.24%, putting an end to the bearish streak of three consecutive drops since last Tuesday; similarly, steady gains for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it reaches 36,256 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap gains marginally (+0.63%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star trades moderately higher (+0.31%).
Intesa Sanpaolo (+3.03%), Saipem (+2.10%), Pirelli & C (+2.10%) and Poste Italiane (+1.89%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.
D'Amico (+3.64%), Sanlorenzo (+2.19%), GVS (+2.19%) and Acea (+2.16%) are among Italy's top mid-cap stocks.
Comer Industries sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -2.19% lower.
El.En trades with a small loss of -0.93%.
Tottering SOL dips -0.58%.
SAES Getters is definitely weaker with a -0.57% decrease.
