Borsa Italiana ahead of the Euro-pack

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari is sharply up amid fresh buying, outperforming the other European bourses, which have a fairly positive session.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.064. Gold is trading at previous levels, with a variation of +0.13%. Caution prevails in the oil market, with Light Sweet Crude Oil registering a slight decline of -0.65%.

The Spread sees a slight drop, falling to +142 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield stands at +3.88%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt is modestly up (+0.59%), London records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.5%, and Paris is in positive territory with a +1.32% increase.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB rises +1.03%, to 33,737 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share gains +0.98% over the previous session, trading at 35,872 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap trades moderately higher (+0.48%); on the same line, the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.29%).

Banca Popolare Sondrio (+4.36%), DiaSorin (+3.73%), Bper (+2.83%) and Moncler (+2.63%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Recordati has the worst performance, with a -1.22% down.

Interpump Group drifts -0.53% lower.

SAES Getters (+4.25%), D'Amico (+4.18%), De'Longhi (+2.76%) and Maire Tecnimont (+2.10%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Technoprobe sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.69% lower.

Investors are selling as LU-VE Group records a -2.08% fall.

Alerion Clean Power totters along with a modest -1.47% decline.

A sluggish day for GVS, which drops -0.71%.
