Europe shares end mixed amid earnings and cooler-than-expected US inflation -2-

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 13 feb - In European stock market dealings, shares of the cable manufacturer Prysmian lost 2.72% to 98.98 euros in Milan as investors reacted to reports that US president Donald Trump is considering lighter tariffs on steel and aluminum.

Conversely, shares of the pipe maker Tenaris added 2.45% to 20.30 euros, bucking the downward trend on hopes that a reduction in the same US trade duties would benefit its operations.

In Paris, shares of the beauty giant L'Oreal fell 4.93% to 372.35 euros following disappointing fourth quarter 2025 results that analysts believe make a growth acceleration in.

2026 less likely.
