(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Milano, 2 apr - Tesla said it delivered 358,023 vehicles globally in the first quarter.

Analysts expected 368,900 deliveries in the period.

The Texas-based EV manufacturer said it produced 408,386 vehicles globally in the quarter with its energy business deploying 8.8 GWh of energy storage products.

At 1357 GMT Tesla shares were down 4.1%.
