International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. is one of the world leaders in designing, producing and marketing fragrances and flavors. Net sales break down by product family as follows:
- flavor compounds and ingredients (61.2%): intended essentially for the food-processing (dairy products, beverages, prepared meals, candy, etc.) and pharmaceutical industries (dental care, etc.);
- fragrance compounds and ingredients (38.8%): intended primarily for producing cosmetics (deodorants, hair care products, etc.) and cleaning products (detergents, soaps, fabric softeners, etc.).
At the end of 2020, the group has 242 manufacturing sites, creative centers and application laboratories around the world.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: North America (24.2%), Europe/Africa/Middle East (39.1%), Asia (22.8%) and Latin America (13.9%).
