Bertolotti S.p.A. specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of handling, transport and storage systems for materials and industrial components. The group is also active in the construction and installation of handling and maintenance systems for rail rolling stock. The business is organized around 3 poles:
- construction of industrial handling installations and systems: self-guiding vehicles for transporting industrial materials and goods (especially steel, aluminum and metallurgical products), packaging lines, rail-mounted systems, bulk goods handling systems, aeronautical handling systems (complex cranes, automatic overhead travelling cranes, loading and unloading systems, automatic warehouses, etc.);
- construction of railway rolling stock maintenance systems: lifting systems, column elevators, hydraulic elevators, fixed and mobile access platforms, sand replenishment systems, etc.;
- development of software and robotic systems for industrial process automation.
Export accounts for 68% of net sales.
