Medica S.p.A. is specialized in the design, manufacture and marketing of medical products and devices for use in blood filtration. The group also offers electro-medical equipment and water purification products. The business is organized around 3 groups of products:
- medical equipment and devices for blood filtration and acute medical treatments: medical equipment and devices for intensive care units (products for apheresis, dialysis, treatment of acute renal failure and heart failure, organ transplantation, bio-regenerative medicine, and intraperitoneal chemohyperthermia), single-use products for hemodialysis, disposable products for gastroenterology and urodynamic examinations;
- automated machines for the production and assembly of medical devices (Tecnoideal);
- microbiological water purification products and systems: for medical, home, commercial and industrial applications.
At the end of 2022, the group had 6 production sites in Italy (3), the United States, the United Kingdom and Tunisia.
Net sales are distributed as follows: Italy (36.2%), Europe (31.1%) and other (32.7%).
