El.En. S.p.A. is the Italian leader of the design, production and distribution of industrial and medical lasers. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- sales of medical and esthetic lasers (72.5%): primarily CO2 lasers and pulsed colorant lasers used in dermatology (treatment of acne, rosacea, etc.), in surgery (esthetic surgery and vision surgery), in urology (echography, treatment of kidney stones, etc.), in gynecology (primarily treatment of pre-cancerous lesions), and in esthetic medicine (treatment of scars, skin aging, hair removal, etc.);
- sales of industrial lasers (27.5%): lasers for cutting, marking, welding, and etching metals, plastics, glass, and wood.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Italy (19%), Europe (29.9%) and other (51.1%).
