EURO.NM Gains 250th Company Listing

EURO.NM - the pan-European network of stock markets for high growth companies continues its impressive growth record in terms of new listing, market capitalisation, liquidity and performance. The 200th listing was reached on April 19, and more than 250 companies will be listed by the end of June 1999. This milestone has been reached much quicker than anticipated. June should be a record month with 29 new listings (versus 20 in June 1998) bringing the total for the first half of the year to 86, vs. 48 for the corresponding period in 1998.

All five members of EURO.NM are now active, with the listing of OPENGATE ON Nuovo Mercato (The Italian Exchange) on June 17.

The total market capitalisation of EURO.NM is 59 billion euro, and total capital raised now exceeds euro 8 billion. The average daily trading volume is over 150 million euro. To date, the EURO.NM All-share index has gained 17.3% this year, after a strong increase of 134% in 1998.
