Recupero Etico Sostenibile S.p.A. is specialized in waste management services. The group provides industrial recycling and disposal of urban waste, through sorting, collection, transport and treatment operations, up to their energy recovery and the production of eco-sustainable clothing. In addition, Recupero Etico Sostenibile S.p.A. is developing a renewable energy production. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- municipal waste and non-hazardous special waste treatment services (64.4%): mechanical-biological treatment (60% of sales), sorting and collection (37.3%), waste composting (2.5%) and other treatment (0.2%);
- waste disposal services (25.2%);
- sale of recyclable materials (9.5%): plastics, glass, paper, cardboard and metals recovered from mechanical-biological treatment and waste sorting plants;
- sale of solar energy and biogas (0.9%).
