ENAV S.p.A. manages civil air traffic in Italy, guaranteeing the safety and punctuality of approximately 2.4 million flights (as of 31.12.2025), 24 hours a day, from the control towers of 45 airports and 4 area control centers. With about 4,500 employees, the company provides air navigation services to its customers, i.e. the airlines flying in Italy. ENAV S.p.A. is a fundamental part of the international air traffic management system and is involved in research and development activities in coordination with national and international control bodies in the sector. It is also one of the main players in the Single European Sky, a program aimed at harmonizing air traffic management throughout the European Union. ENAV S.p.A. has also been committed to the environment for many years, constantly optimizing routes to reduce aircraft fuel consumption, while using alternative sources to improve the efficiency of its infrastructure.
