Unipol Gruppo S.p.A. is a leading insurance group in Italy in the Non-Life business, ranking 1st in the Motor Vehicle (MV) and Health businesses, and one of the ten biggest in Europe.
Unipol Gruppo S.p.A. adopts an integrated offer strategy covering the entire range of insurance products, and it operates primarily through its subsidiary UnipolSai Assicurazioni, which controls inter alia Unisalute (health insurance), Arca Vita and Arca Assicurazioni (bancassurance, mainly through BPER and BPS) and Linear (direct MV insurance).
The Group also manages significant diversified assets in the real estate, hotel (Gruppo UNA) and agricultural (Tenute del Cerro) sectors.
The Group strategy focuses on the ongoing evolution from the leadership in the insurance business to the leadership in Mobility, Welfare and Property Ecosystems.
