DeA Capital carries out diversified financial investments, focusing mainly on the following:

• Companies operating in the services sector, mostly unlisted, with high value creation potential, through share purchases, including majority shareholdings, jointly with partners or on a stand-alone basis;
• Private equity "funds of funds", being funds which comprise shares in private equity funds rather than direct investments in companies. These funds tend to be highly diversified, with management focus on the selection of funds for the portfolio on the basis of set parameters of size, geography, etc.
• "co-investment funds", being funds investing directly in companies, with other qualified investors (specifically private equity funds).

Notably, the objective of the Company investment policy will be the construction of a portfolio of investments with a high level of diversification in terms of product, sector and geography. The medium term has been deemed most attractive, in relation to value creation, although initiatives with different time profiles will not be excluded.

DeA Capital is the first step for the De Agostini Group in the implementation of a strategic plan aimed at concentrating financial investments in a specialized entity, which enables the Group to share medium term value creation opportunities with equity market investors.
