MIV - REGULATORY PERSPECTIVE
In 2015 the regulatory framework of the MIV has been rationalized as a result of the transposition of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive 2011/61/EU (or "AIFMD" for short) in Italy.
In particular, with an eye to the standardization of the regulatory framework, the MIV has been dedicated to the listing of AIFs introduced by the AIFMD.
For any clarification in relation to the AIFMD:

- ESMA guidelines on AIFMD

- CONSOB regulation and guidelines
The amendments include the review of the rules governing alternative funds (AIFs) to be listed on the MIV market (Market for Investment Vehicles). The amendments entered into force on 3 June 2019
