A new SPAC in Borsa Italiana: Glenalta debuts on AIM Italia

-       25th debut of the year and 8th SPAC on Borsa Italiana

-       €80 million raised at IPO

Today Glenalta Food debuts on AIM Italia, the market dedicated to SMEs.
The company is a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (“SPAC”), a corporate vehicle created to raise capital through an IPO in order to carry out an operation of merger or acquisition with a target company operating in the Food sector.
Through Banca Alletti & C. S.p.A., Nomad of the operation, and CFO Sim, joint bookrunner, Glenalta Food raised €80 million at IPO, which correspond to the market capitalization of the company. The free float is 100%.
