ExtraMOT PRO, Borsa Italiana’s market dedicated to debt instruments and reserved for professional investors, celebrates its second anniversary.

Since 2013, Borsa Italiana’s fixed income market enables Italian companies to efficiently access the capital markets. ExtraMOT PRO matches issuers with a wide network of domestic and international intermediaries, supporting them in their growth journeys. To date, ExtraMOT PRO includes 100 listed instruments and 86 issuers, including 12 ELITE companies on its market. Raised capital totals €5 billion.

To mark the second anniversary of ExtraMOT PRO, Borsa Italiana launches a new page on its website, PROLinK (http://www.borsaitaliana.it/pro-link/home.en.htm), a platform with standardised information on companies and listed instruments. PROLinK allows issuers to showcase their businesses, enabling them to add value to their brand and promote it to the financial community, by offering investors access to as wide and detailed set of information as possible.

Pietro Poletto, Head of Fixed Income markets, Borsa Italiana, declared:
“ExtraMOT PRO celebrates its second anniversary, with 100 listed instruments on its market, a strong foundation for ongoing growth and expansion. The market is a channel used by increasingly more Italian companies, to approach non-banking funding sources. The listing of debt instruments is a resource for professional investors, allowing them visibility and information on issuers, in a transparent, MiFID compliant platform. ExtraMOT PRO represents the natural completion of Borsa Italiana’s fixed income offering, which today is enriched by the launch of the PROLinK platform, enabling companies to further represent themselves to the financial community.”
