“We are very pleased to welcome Bologna airport, which is the 70th company on the STAR segment of Borsa Italiana. Since they are committed to respect precise excellency requirements, STAR companies are particularly appreciated by international investors, a fundamental asset for the infrastructure industry.

Infrastructures are pivotal to our country’s economy. Historically, companies operating in this sector has often looked to debt instruments to finance their activity. The IPO of Bologna airport demonstrates that capital markets can prove to be a valuable option and a driver to enhance Italy’s competitiveness”.

MTA’s STAR segment is dedicated to middle sized companies with a market capitalisation between €40 million and €1 billion, which respect transparency, Corporate Governance and liquidity requirements.
