Second BIt Systems ASP Community Expo

BIt Systems, the IT Company of Borsa Italiana, announces that the second BIt Systems ASP Community Expo will take place in Milan on November 25, 2008.

The event, hosted by Borsa Italiana, at Palazzo Mezzanotte, is aimed at business development managers, sales managers andIT managers from both the buy and the sell side.

At the BIt Systems ASP Community Expo some of the leading players in the financial sector have the opportunity to meet with each other to discuss market conditions and the evolution of the IT industry, allowing them to explore their customers’ needs to help identify new services that could benefit financial markets.

The BIt Systems ASP Community has more than 50 members, including brokers, ISVs, service providers, MTFs, SIs and exchanges which are connected to BIt Systems.

The Expo will host a range of workshops as well as a roundtable on “The revolution to come: the importance of developing a business strategy for MiFID”. The roundtable will take place at 10.30am, on November 25, at Palazzo Mezzanotte. The speakers will be Service Providers (BT, COLT, Verizon Business), ISVs (GATElab, List Group, PROGRESS APAMA), Brokers (Banca IMI, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, Directa Sim, Merrill Lynch), and Trading Venues (BATS Europe, Chi-X Europe Ltd, Hi-mtf Sim, London Stock Exchange Group, Nasdaq OMX Europe, TLX, Turquoise).
