Trading calendar 2008

Borsa Italiana defined the 2008 trading calendar for its own regulated markets with the following closing days:

  • All Saturdays;
  • All Sundays;
  • Tuesday 1 January (New Year's Day);
  • Friday 21 March (Good Friday) and Monday 24 March (Easter Monday);
  • Thursday 1 May (Labour Day);
  • Friday 15 August (Assumption of the Virgin);
  • Wednesday 24 December (Christmas Eve), Thursday 25 December (Christmas Day), Friday 26 December (Boxing Day), Wednesday 31 December (Last Day Of the Year).

For the after hours sessions, in addition to closing days for the daily sessions, Borsa Italiana lays to close as follows:

  • From Wednesday 2 January until Friday 4 January;
  • Thursday 20 March;
  • From Thursday 24 April until Friday 2 May;
  • Monday 2 June;
  • From Monday 11 August until Friday 22 August;
  • Friday 31 October;
  • Friday 5 December and Monday 8 December, Monday 22 December, Tuesday 23 December, Monday 29 December and Tuesday 30 December.
