Enrico Cervone Board Member of Borsa Italiana

Borsa Italiana’s Shareholders Meeting, held today, appointed Enrico Cervone as a board member in place of Enzo Berlanda, recently deceased, whose memory was honoured with a minute silence.
Enrico Cervone was borne in Ragusa in 1937, spent his career in Banca d’Italia and contributed to the building of some of the main infrastructures of the Italian financial markets (MTS, MID, Monte Titoli, Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia). Vice Chairman and Chairman of Monte Titoli from 1988 to 2001.
Consob member from 2001 to 2006 and Consob senior commissioner from 2004 to October 2006.
