FNM is the first integrated group in the field of sustainable mobility in Lombardy. It represents the first pole in Italy to combine rail infrastructure management with road mobility and motorway infrastructure management, with the aim of proposing an innovative model for managing the demand and supply of mobility, based on the optimization of flows and environmental and economic sustainability. The group is also one of the main Italian non-state investors in the sector. Net sales (excluding inter-company elisions) break down by activity as follows:

- management and maintenance of railway infrastructure (22.6%);
- road passenger transport (20.8%);
- rolling stock rental and other services (12.8%).
