Discovering Fixed Income Markets with IBL Banca

Discover more about the event celebrating IBL Banca’s return to Italy with the listing of its first ABS instruments on the professional segment of Borsa Italiana’s MOT, for a total value of approximately €700 million euro. The transaction, issued under the €10 billion euro securitization programmme approved by Consob, represents a strategic milestone: it is the first repatriated ABS programme and the first listing of ABS on the MOT, opening new opportunities for structured finance and securitization in the Italian regulated market. This achievement was made possible by the systemic initiative aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of Italian debt markets, expanding opportunities for issuers and investors. A network already comprising banks, law firms, and sophisticated investors is now supported by the coordination of the Bank of Italy, Consob, Euronext Securities Milan, and Borsa Italiana, enabling integrated and efficient management of the entire process. ABSs remain key instruments for supporting lending capacity, optimizing capital allocation, and tangibly strengthening the financing of the real economy.
