Who we are

Carbonsink, together with South Pole, supports companies in implementing climate strategies - creating value along the way, generating impact, and turning climate change risks into new business opportunities. With South Pole we form the largest mitigation project developer group in the world, with over 10 years of established experience in climate consulting and a global team of over 1,000 climate and sustainability experts and professionals with specific knowledge of the Italian market.

 

What we do

With years of experience in the development of net-zero climate strategies and climate risk management for companies, Carbonsink provides strategic and customized consulting in the areas of carbon management, carbon neutrality, and net-zero strategy, through the development and enhancement of projects capable of generating carbon credits certified according to the main international standards.

By joining the South Pole family, Carbonsink leverages global resources and access to innovative technologies and approximately 1,000 mitigation projects worldwide to maintain and strengthen its leadership role in the Italian market. Carbonsink promotes a 5-step approach to climate strategy developed: measure, define, reduce, offset emissions, and communicate transparently and credibly. Carbonsink is the first Italian CDP accredited provider since 2017 and since 2021 the first CDP Silver Partner to offer SBT (Science Based Target) services in Italy. In 2022 one of the first joint Carbonsink - South Pole initiatives with the launch of Digital Climate Solutions, innovative digital tools that make climate action accessible to all businesses.
