Investors’ Perspective on the Evolution of ESG

Monday 14 September

Digital Event   |   Language: Italian   |   Time: 10:00am  - 12.00pm

Abstract

In recent years, the ESG ecosystem has evolved rapidly amid growing regulatory expectations, increasing data availability and the proliferation of frameworks, standards and external validation tools.
At the same time, markets are placing greater emphasis on the quality, comparability and actual decision-usefulness of sustainability information within investment processes.
Against this backdrop, the webinar will explore investors’ perspectives on the evolution of ESG practices and on the value attributed to the main tools companies use to communicate targets, performance and transition strategies.
The discussion will build on insights gathered through a closed-door roundtable organised by Euronext and the Italian Sustainable Investment Forum with a selected group of institutional investors, complemented by broader market feedback collected through an investor survey.
Topics will include the relevance of SBTi standards, the decision-usefulness of ESRS and sustainability reporting, the role of Second Party Opinions and other external validation mechanisms, as well as the evolving integration of ESG KPIs into investment processes.
The webinar aims to provide participating companies in the Euronext Sustainability Week with a practical understanding of current investor expectations and of the sustainability-related information and tools that continue to matter most to the market.

The live webinar is reserved to companies attending the Virtual Investor Conference and the recording of the webinar will be published on the Borsa italiana website, as from 14 September 10:00am

The event agenda and the registration link will be available in the coming weeks.
