Driving Growth and Competitiveness through Sustainability

Tuesday 9 September | 9.30am - 4.30pm

In-person event
Palazzo Mezzanotte, Piazza degli Affari 6, Milan

Abstract

The opening event of the Euronext Sustainability Week 2025 will be an opportunity for discussion on the main trends and the latest challenges that companies, investors, and policymakers face in combining sustainability and competitiveness.

During the morning, the debate will start with the push for simplification as an enabling condition for more innovative, competitive, and resilient companies, then delve into some of the main technological challenges and touch on the themes of growth and resilience of family businesses. Finally, the role of finance in supporting increasingly sustainable business models will be explored.

In the afternoon, two parallel panels will allow for an in-depth exploration of, on one hand, sustainability as a growth driver between mitigation, resilience, and business transition, and on the other hand, the evolution of ESG bond markets, with a focus on European standards and the latest product innovations.
