ETF plus - trading record

In March 2008, ETFplus market has achieved the highest daily average turnover

In March the ETFplus market has reached the highest daily average turnover equal to Euro 199.4 million (190.9 for the ETFs and 8.5 for the ETCs) overcoming the previous record achieved in January 2008 (Euro 192.7 million). The average daily trades in March was equal to 6,228 (5,254 for the ETFs and  974 for the ETCs) over the average of the whole 2007 (5,305 contracts). About the number of trades, the trading record is still maintained in October 2007 with a daily average of 8,247.

In detail in March 2008 the ETC segment was very active considering  that the average daily trades has reached the highest value of 974 contracts (the previous record registered in February 2008 was of 910 contracts). In March the daily average turnover was equal to Euro 8.5 million a bit under the highest value of Euro 8.6 million achieved in February 2008.
