November Record Month for SeDeX

Trading Volumes and the number of listed products have grown impressively setting new records

The total countervalue of trades in November was the all-time high € 10.4 billion. Compared to the month average of the previous 10 months (€ 5.2 billion) the increase is equal to +100.5%. Compared to November 2005 (€ 4.4 billion) the increase is even +134.3%.
November 22nd was also the trading day with the highest countervalue in the history of SeDeX, with € 588,4 mln, compared to an average € 473 mln in November and € 244,7 mln in the previous 10 months.

Also the number of trades has grown at a quick pace. The daily average number of trades in November was 22,799, +32,5% on the average of the previous 10 months (17,202). The total number of trades exchanged in November ammounts to 501,577, compared to a monthly average of 366,394 of the previous 10 months, is the highest performance since November 2002. On November 29th, 29,012 contracts were concluded, the highest performance of the year and the best since June 6th, 2003.

The number of listed instruments has also increased at an interesting rate. On November 30th, the number of listed instruments ammounted to 5,440, the highest number since November 2002, with an increase of 17.1% on October (4,645) and +45,1% on November 2005 (3,749).
