In the first month of the year, the total number of trades has reached the highest level since october 2002. In January 524,773 contracts were traded, with a correponding daily average of 23,853 contracts. The relevant turnover also remained high, with a total EUR 9,663 million and a daily average of EUR 439.2 million.
