The ERG Group is a major independent operator in the production of energy from renewable sources: wind, solar, hydroelectric and high-yield cogenerative thermoelectric. Management of the industrial and commercial processes of the ERG Group is entrusted to the subsidiary ERG Power Generation S.p.A. which carries out centralised Energy Management activities for all the generation technologies, and the Operation & Maintenance activities of its Italian wind farms (and part of the plants in France and Germany), the power plants of the Terni Hydroelectric Complex and the CCGT plant.ERG Power Generation S.p.A. also operates in the following Electric Power generation sectors:• Wind: ERG is active in the generation of electricity from wind sources, with 1,929MW of installed power. ERG is the leading wind power operator in Italy and one of the top ten in Europe. The wind farms are mainly concentrated in Italy (1,093MW), but with a significant and growing presence abroad (836MW), mainly in France (359MW), Germany (272MW), Poland (82MW), Romania (70MW) and Bulgaria (54MW).• Solar: ERG is active in the generation of electricity from solar sources, currently with an installed capacity of 141MW, following the acquisition in January 2019 of 2 photovoltaic plants for 51.4MW, in addition to the 31 photovoltaic plants (90MW) acquired in 2018.• Hydroelectric: ERG is active in the generation of electricity from hydroelectric sources through an integrated portfolio of assets consisting of 19 plants, 7 dams, 3 reservoirs and one pumping station, located in Umbria, Marche and Lazio, with a capacity of 527MW.• Thermoelectric: ERG is active in the generation of electricity from thermoelectric sources through a high-yield cogenerative combined cycle plant (480MW), located in the Priolo site and fuelled by natural gas.
